I like this video because I feel identified with the lemur. I’m very affectionate and I like very much that people give me love, I looove that my friends make cuddle to me in my hair or they make me massage. This video is very funny and my family always remembers me with this

This video always makes me laugh, the cat’s reaction is unexpected. When I sneeze, my cat, Max, has the same reaction. The cats are very unpredictable, sincerely I love cats, they do such stranger things but I like them, they are tender and loving (the purr is the best)

I love these types of videos, they show how astute animals can be (in this case a dog)

The dogs are a great friend and they are very faithful. I’m impressed by the great help they can give your owner. Dogs can help in catastrophes and save many lives

My favorite singer

                                                

 My favorite musician is Francisca Valenzuela, she is a Chilean singer, but she born in San Francisco, United States

She is one of the most recognized Chilean songwriters in the country

At only 13 she composed one of her best known songs, called "Peces"

Also in the year 2000 she wrote a book of poetry, which was published in the United States.

Francisca Valenzuela has 3 albums; the first album "Múerdete la lengua" was released in 2007, the second album called "Buen Soldado" was bringed to market in 2011, and the last album was "Tajo Abierto" released in 2014

The singer's music style is considered as "alternative rock pop" In their songs you can see the influence of Julieta Venegas and other singers whom Francisca admires

I like Francisca Valenzuela, because I love national music (of any style), I like the rhythm and lyrics of the songs she has, I feel identified with many songs of her. Apart is a beautiful woman.

It is difficult to choose a favorite song, because I like the vast majority. But one of the ones I like the most is "Afortunada" because it expresses a very deep feeling and with the perfect and precise words.

I share with you the interpretation of "Afortunada" that I like 

I would like to travel!

                         

                         I like to travel a lot, and one of my dreams is to travel to Easter Island

I would like to travel to Easter Island because I find it a beautiful culture, and I would like to meet the majestic “moais” (Easter Island statue), the dances and the typical food of the place

About the Easter Island

The Easter Island (also named Rapa Nui) is a Chilean island that is located in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, and is considered part of Insular Chile

I known that the Easter Islan have a great volcano called Poike, gigantic statues (moais) what it identifies much to the island, and they were constructed to represent the ancestors of the inhabitant

About sports: The “Pora” is a classic competition of swimming on a cattail (“totora”) float

I would like to live in this Island because I consider that is a very quiet place, with people very agreeable, where I would enjoy it, and could enrich myself by knowing a new culture and customs (and I really wish I could dance like a real person from Easter Island)

Activity 2.-
Show 1: "Raised human". I would like to see this show, because shows the stories of the pets and the bonds that they form with their owners. this reminds me of the important moments I had with my different pets

Show 2: "My big fat pet makeover".  I would like to see this show, because the subject of obesity is also seen in animals and this is very important for my future as a veterinarian

Show 3: "The vet life". I would like to see this show, because it's the same situation I'm going through. Studying veterinarian is not just reading, it is also being able to relate to the rest and have time for family and friends

My life's main events

I was born in Santiago, Chile. I was the third child that my parents had. Yes, I'm the "conchito" (I don't like this term)

When I was 10 years old. i made my first communion. 

To this day, I'm a believer in God

 

In 2013 we lost someone very special, in that year Aylen died. 

She was a great friend, she was a mapuche proud of her origin

   

On July 16 of 2015, my grandmother died because of diabetes

She was aware for my birthday (July 6) and gave me her the last present

 

In the summer of 2015 I travelled for the first time to Arequipa, Peru.

I love Peru, is beautiful, and the people is very agreeable

In 2016 I started a relationship with my current boyfriend

For me, Simon is my first love (yes, I'm soooo cheesy)

                                                   

In 2016 I finished school 

In my graduation I read a farewell speech 

After we had a great graduation party

                                                       

 In 2017, I entered to the University of Chile, to study Veterinary Medicine.

 I love my degree even though its is difficult and sometimes is stressful. I feel I'm in the right place

My favorite things

My Small Guitar

This is my small guitar (charango). This is an instrument, that have five double strings (ten strings). The small guitar is characteristic of Andean Zones and also of folklore.

My instrument is not made of small armadillo, this is carved.

This instrument gave it to me for my birthday number 15 and I named it "Aleli" because of my favorite song ("Bailando con tu sombra")

                   

   

  I like to play the small guitar and sing. I like to play typical songs of Chilean folklore, especially song of Violet Parra, Victor Jara, Illapu.

I play my instrument in my free time or when I stay very boring

I like Aleli because I always wanted to have a small guitar when I was little girl
I love the sound it has and how good I feel when I play it.

My life without my instrument would be very boring, without sound or emotion. Aleli relaxes me, and I can express myself through it.

My opinion

What is your opinion about recycling?

I think that recycling is very good because help the environment and the planet. The recycling is a good way to repay the damage we have done to our world.

What is your opinion about “barras bravas”?

I think that the “barras bravas” to discredit and damage football, because the football is a sport to enjoy with the family and friends, but not for fights and killing.

What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some case?

I’m totally disagreement with the legalizing abortion, because it’s a murder, and I don’t think killing an innocent baby is the best solution for the mother. Should consider the rights of the baby’s life.

What is your opinion about the Chilean politicians?

I think that the Chilean politicians are very corrupts and liars, because they don’t worry for the population, they worry only for their fortune. The Chilean politicians always trick the people.

What is your opinion about fortune telling?

I think the fortune telling are liars and swindlers. I don’t believe that fate can be seen through simple cards. It's a shame that people can believe in things like that.

A living being

Fernanda Quintanilla Alarcón was born in Santiago of Chile in 6th July of1998.
She started her studies at "Colegio Pablo Apóstol" in Buin. After, she finished her studies at "Liceo Leonardo Murialdo" in Recoleta.

Currently, in 2017, she enter to the University of Chile, to study Veterinary Medicine.

She live with her parents; her mom, Verónica Alarcón; and her dad, Fernando Quintanilla... (the "creative" reason of her name)
Fernanda has 3 sisters; Isabel, Verónica (other creative name), and Camila

Other members of her family, are her pets. She has 3 dogs (Popy, Cody and Copo), a cat (Max) and a rabbit (Tambor)

About her hobbies

The activities that Fernanda likes to do most are to sing, play charango and ukelele, dance (especially folk dance), read, travel, and spending time with her family, friends and her boyfriend.
